There's a brand-new spot to grab pizza and beer in Portage Park. Called Easy Street, the newcomer is located at 3750 N Central Ave. (between Grace St & Warwick Ave), which was formerly home to longtime dive K&H Lounge.
Owner Dan Latino, who's also behind The Country Club in Wrigleyville, here offers a spread of classic fare, from specialty pizzas and make-your-own pies to wings, garlic bread, burgers and more.
To drink, look for a selection of bottled and draft brews, as well as a streamlined cocktail menu offering mojitos, Moscow mules, Palomas and more. (See the full menu here.)
The new spot has garnered solid reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Ezra E., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 3rd, said: "Good service, fast turn over, decent if not great beer selection but other interesting drinks help. Pizza is good but not as good as Porettas down the street. Crowd is lively and friendly from the neighborhood."
Yelper EVie S. added: “Cheese curds and pizza are delicious, great food friendly staff definitely coming back."
And Andrea A. said: "So happy and excited this place opened up in our neighborhood. This place is amazing. Great service, family friendly, great cider and amazing food. I will definitely return."
Easy Street is now open at 3750 N Central Ave., so head on over to check it out. Hours are Monday-Friday 4pm-2am, Saturday noon-3am, and Sunday noon-2am.
