Sandwich fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called B's Po Boy, the new arrival is located at 2738 Alki Ave SW. (between S 62nd Ave. & S 61st Ave.) in Alki.

Owners Deborah and Ryan Borchelt are bringing some New Orleans flavor to West Seattle with their first location outside of Indianapolis.

The casual eatery offers Southern classics such as po boys served on Leidenheimer bread, gumbo, sandwiches with a variety of fillings like fried shrimp, and even "alligator bites" made with actual gator tail meat. Appetizers include friend green tomatoes, onion rings and crab cakes—and for dessert, look for beignets and bread pudding to round out your meal.

B's Po Boy has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp.

Brian P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 16th, said: "We love the food in New Orleans... and Shrimp Po Boy's and Muffalata sandwiches are two of our favorites. So I was excited to give B's a try today."

Yelper Rick K. added: "We have been looking so forward to B's Po Boy opening, and we went on their 6th of being opened. It was just okay. My fried shrimp po boy was the hit."

With a price rating of two dollar signs on Yelp, an outing to B's Po Boy is estimated to cost $11-$30 per person.
