Salad fans, take note: there's a new Sweetgreen location in the neighborhood. The latest outpost of the healthy eating chain is located at 1601 Market St. in Logan Square, joining three other Philly locations, as well as dozens of outposts across seven other states.
Sweetgreen brings a focus on sustainability, local ingredient sourcing and made-from-scratch preparation to its business, and aims to offer healthy options. On offer are a variety of seasonal, freshly made salads and bowls, plus a make-your-own option for those who like to sit in the driver's seat. (See the full menu here.)
With a 3-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has made a promising start.
Patricia H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 19th, said: "Today I tried the Mexican Corn Elote Bowl and it was delish!! My friend got the Spring Chicken, and loved it."
And Lauren K. said: " I got the Harvest Bowl and Blueberry Basil Fresca, while my companion tried the Caesar Salad. Once I got over the shock that I was eating a bowl full of kale (!!!), I quite enjoyed my meal."
