A new coffee and dessert spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Montrose, called Blonde Biscotti, is located at 1000 W Gray St.
Open since June 27th, the new spot is a mother-daughter effort that bills itself as a specialty coffee and biscotti bakery bar, "not just another coffee bar in the heart of Houston." Specializing in third wave coffee "with a strong West Coast influence," Blonde Biscotti also offers, you guessed it, a variety of biscotti that's "soft-baked" for a less crunchy experience.
Blonde Biscotti has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.
Michael B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 4th, said: "Stopped by this morning for coffee and biscotti. What a great place! Girlfriend and I both got vanilla lattes and a biscotti each."
Yelper Christina D. added: “So happy Blonde Biscotti has opened right next door to our favorite smoothie/juice bar (Nourish)! "Soft baked" biscotti and coffee. Everyone was super friendly."
And Hailey B. said: "Coffee is delicious, Biscottis soft and yummy, and and baristas so friendly!"
