A brand-new eatery has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Bremen's Wine & Tap, the new addition is located at 2005 W 33rd Ave. in Highland.
It's taken over the space from the former Rosa Linda, which shuttered in October, after 30 years in business. Open since June 21st, the newcomer doesn't offer Mexican food, but it does boast a menu of tasty options for brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner. According to the business, it aims to supply "rotisserie, craft sandwiches, fresh salads, light seasonal appetizers complimented by creative cocktails, draft beer and wine on tap."
For brunch and lunch, expect to chow down dishes like the bacon asparagus hash ($13), mile high pancake stack ($9), and prime rib and eggs ($18); the dinner menu brings such options as the asparagus pear tartare ($9), garlic lime rotisserie chicken ($19), watermelon and bacon salad ($8) and more.
With a five-star rating out of 13 reviews on Yelp so far, the new spot has been warmly received by patrons.
Kaleen B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 29th, said: "I was so excited when I heard Bremen's Wine and Tap was moving in a block from my house. I went for the first time yesterday and my experience was better than I could have imagined!"
Yelper Allison S. added: “Friendly and attentive staff that makes the atmosphere very inviting. The decor is rustic and and very well done. I went in for happy hour and the drinks were strong and delicious!"
And Madeline K. said: "Friendly service! Great food and simple ingredients made delicious. Good craft cocktails. Fun patio! Can't wait to come back for brunch!"
