A new spot to score sandwiches and more has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Cheese Meats Bread, the fresh addition is located at 604 5th Ave S. (between James St & Weller St) in the International District.

Open since July 14th, Cheese Meats Bread is the brainchild of 8oz. Burger & Co. owner Kevin Chung, who's bringing his expertise to the world of grilled cheese, which are all built on a foundation of a signature cheese blend, which includes Beecher's Flagship white cheddar, buffalo mozzarella, mild cheddar, fontina, and muenster. From there, look for sandwiches like the SEA (polish sausages and sauerkraut), the Mex (chorizo, pico de gallo), the Earth (smashed avocado, roasted tomatoes) and more, ranging in price from $6-$9.

To end your meal on a sweet note, check out the streamlined milkshake menu, with unique flavors like salted caramel, green tea Nutella, and PB&J.

Cheese Meats Bread has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Brian K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 15th, said: "Perfectly toasted bread and and an interesting selection of sandwiches. All the sandwiches come with a salad which makes it a full meal. Will be back."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Cheese Meats Bread is open daily from 11am–9pm.
