A sweet shop and wine bar has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 2130 6th Ave. (between Blanchard St & Lenora St) in Belltown, the new arrival is called Lady Yum.
It's the third location for the business, which already has a storefront in downtown Kirkland (111 Lake St.) and another in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Similar to its flagship store, the newest location will feature 20 different macarons daily, with flavors such as honey lavender, toasted coconut, chocolate, "unicorn" and more. (See the full menu here.)
There are also three seasonal and two monthly flavors on the menu. Currently, the summer flavors are passion orange guava, key lime coconut, and peanut butter & jelly; the monthly flavors are "firecracker" and "mermaid".
And to top it all off, the new spot also offers a variety of wine, champagne and house sparkling rosé to enjoy with your dessert.
With just one review on Yelp thus far, Lady Yum currently has a five-star rating.
Sumana C., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on July 9th, observed: "Danger just arrived in my neighborhood in the form of delicious macaroons and splits of champagne."
