Looking for a new sushi bar to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Sushigami, the newcomer is located at the Galleria at 5085 Westheimer Rd. in Greater Uptown.
Open since July 20th, it's the first Texas location for Sushigami, which also has two mall locations in Florida. Expect a conveyor belt sushi experience with dishes ranging from nigiri, hand rolls and sashimi to rice bowls, tempura, gyoza and more. (See the full menu here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Rain A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 23rd, said: "this place is awesome! fish is fresh and is very refreshing and would definitely recommend this place:) two thumbs up."
Yelper Iole B. added: “I never knew I liked sushi until now! I decided to give this place a try and I was not let down in the slightest. The food tastes so fresh and flavorful and there is something for everyone.”
And Zachary W. said: "Really good place to stop by for lunch if you need a quick meal. The cost adds up so it isn't cheap but it's really nice for a variety of sushi."
