A new interval training gym and personal training spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Burn Babe, the new arrival is located at 7366 Melrose Ave.

The new women's fitness studio is led by celebrity trainer Holly Holton, who was also the CEO behind Pink Iron Women's Gym before it closed. Holton and her team at Burn Babe "want women to feel empowered to go after their life goals without fear."

To that end, the studio offers group and private workout classes that include "cardio conditioning, functional movement, and strength training which will increase metabolism and lean muscle tone while decreasing body fat for incredible results in all the right places."

Classes run 45-minutes and are currently offered Monday-Saturday. (See the schedule here.)

With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new training gym is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Rebeca M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 22nd, said: "This is my favorite place to get my sweat on! I'll be honest and I'm not about to do burpees or box jumps on my own. Nope. But put me in a room with other sweaty women and an enthusiastic and encouraging coach, and all of a sudden I'm a burpee machine!"

Yelper Amina L. added: “This is a women's gym that offers circuit style/hiit workouts. They've just opened, so their classes and programming are still a work in progress."

And Sydney K. said: "I'm new to the neighborhood and popped into a class today. I loved it! I do a lot of random workouts because I get bored easily and have trouble motivating myself."

Burn Babe is now open at 7366 Melrose Ave., so stop in to try it for yourself.
