Bagel fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called The Bagel Place, the newcomer is located at 404 Queen St. in Queen Village.
Owner Ringo Roseman and baker Leo Rahill are behind the new venture, which offers 21 different types of bagels, including Rosemary & Cracked Pepper, French Toast, Chocolate Chip and more, plus 16 variations on the classic cream cheese spread.
The new spot also serves up breakfast and lunch sandwiches served on your choice of bagel, plus options like matzoh ball soup and smoked fish, for that Jewish delicatessen vibe. Baked goods like rugelach, cookies, muffins and more are also on offer, along with La Colombe coffee to wash it all down. (See the full menu here.)
With a 3.5-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp so far, The Bagel Place has made a promising start.
Sari Marissa G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 12th, said: "There's a new BAGEL PLACE in town and I feel it's worthy of a try...or two, or three, and or perhaps just go visit on the regular."
With a price rating of two dollar signs on Yelp, an outing to The Bagel Place is estimated to cost $11-$30 per person.
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: The Bagel Place is open daily from 7am–4pm.
