Need a quick bite to eat or have a craving for something sweet? Millet, a new creperie offering desserts and more, has debuted in the Sawtelle neighborhood at 2011 Sawtelle Blvd.
Millet's signature desert is the Brûlée Crepe, a Creme Brûlée masterfully baked on top of a traditional crepe and served in a cone. But there are savory options as well, such as a Japanese-inspired crepe with curry chicken, a tuna melt crepe, and one prepared with turkey and ham. There's also house-made cold drinks to go with your meal or desert, including a matcha green tea latte.
The new arrival has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Rachel M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 30th, said: "Their Brulee Crepe has made it to my list of favourite desserts! I shed a tear when we finished the brulee layer (Gone too soon!) but the strawberries and cereal - that gave a nice crunch."
Yelper Steve L. added: “A nice dessert option. Tasty macaroons, good ice cream, and and crepes. We'll have to try the crepes next time.”
And Gary K. said: "After a casual Ramen Wednesday and we stopped here for a quick sweet fix ... which quickly turned into a life changing culinary experience."
Millet is now open at 2011 Sawtelle Blvd., so stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood.
