Need a new spot to grab groceries? You're in luck: Trader Joe's has opened its doors in University Park at 3131 S Hoover St.
Known for its affordable selection of produce, frozen and prepared foods, fresh-cut flowers and more, along with its own line of delectable goodies, like Speculoos Cookie Butter, Joe Joe's Cookies, or the infamous "Two Buck Chuck" Charles Shaw wine, the company's new location has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
With a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Trader Joe's seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Samantha O., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 7th, said: "I'm an incoming grad student at USC and am so so thankful for this Trader Joe's!!! Without it, there wouldn't be one within a five mile radius of the school."
And Cece L. said: "Came in first day of opening. It's very clean and everything was fully stocked. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. There's an underground parking, which is convenient."
