A new barber shop has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 948 W Fulton Market. in the West Loop, the new arrival is called Blind Barber.

Blind Barber—which originated in New York before expanding to Los Angeles, and now Chicago—aims to add "conversation, beverages, and grilled cheese" to the classic barber shop experience, billing itself as a spot where you can get a haircut, a shave, and have a drink and bite to eat all in the same space, with a D.J. spinning in the background.

Get your hair cut by day, and stay for the food and drinks at night, with bottled and canned beers, cocktails, and over 20 different grilled cheese sandwich options to choose from. (The Chicago menu is still in development, but you can view some of the menu items offered at the Brooklyn location here.)

It's still early days for the fledgling business—it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.

Ryan L., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on August 26th, said: "Pretty interesting new place on FM. A transplant joint from LA. $45 dollar cuts and good drinks. Dj played lots of 90's hip hop so lots of people dancing and having a good time. "

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Blind Barber is open Thursday and Friday from 11am–2am, Saturday from 11am–3am, and Sunday–Wednesday from 11am–7pm.
