A new Hawaiian and Japanese spot, offering poke and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Rocky Fin Poke Bar, the new addition is located at 1245 E Colfax Ave. in City Park West.
It's the first outpost in Denver for the poke eatery whose mission is "to provide healthy food and great service."
Customers begin by selecting a base (white rice, brown rice, salad or chips), then adding one, two or three scoops of protein (tuna, salmon, shrimp, spicy tuna and/or tofu). They'll then choose from a list of toppings and sauces before selecting any other ingredients to finish off their bowl as desired. (See the full menu here.)
With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer has been warmly received by patrons.
Yelper Scott C. said: “I got two scoops of salmon, a scoop of tuna, spicy aioli, and brown rice. I'm a regular at poke city (another poke restaurant), and I would say rocky fin poke bar is equally delicious."
And Harrison S. said: "Walking out of the office today for lunch I noticed brand new signage where Fat Jack's used to be. Of course I had to go check out the new Poke Bar. For what I was looking for this was perfect - generally healthy (I think), light, refreshing."
Head on over to check it out: Rocky Fin Poke Bar is open Friday and Saturday from 11am–9:30pm, and Sunday–Thursday from 11am–9pm.
