Craving water ice? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Siddiq's Real Fruit Water Ice, the new arrival is located at 264 S 60th St. in Cobbs Creek.
This new spot, located in the heart of Temple University's campus, is serving up a cool Philly staple and some hot snacks to go with it. Try the mango and berry gelato or the coco-berry water ice for something truly refreshing. And if you're looking for a quick bite to eat, there's a pretzel with gooey hot cheese, or a halal turkey bacon pretzel pizza.
For those hankering for something even sweeter, try out the bean pie a la mode, or the waffles with ice cream with wet walnuts, powdered sugar, chocolate syrup and a cherry on top.
With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Siddiq's Real Fruit Water Ice has already made a good impression.
L S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 1st, said: "Yuuuuuum. I had the mango berry water ice as a gelati (vanilla ice cream). I can't wait to try more of their flavors. It was just perfect!"
Yelper samiha r. added: “Siddiq's has the best water ice in all of Philadelphia! They use real fruit, which makes everything taste so much better. They have different flavors every day.”
