A new spot to score seafood, tacos and bowls has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new addition to Woodland Hills, called California Fish Grill, is located at 6435 Canoga Ave.
California Fish Grill—which has locations throughout Southern California and the Bay Area—celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Woodland Hills on August 27th.
The eatery's mission is to serve high-quality, healthy seafood, and partner with "reputable fisheries that provide only the freshest wild-caught and responsibly farm-raised fish."
The menu here is extensive, with a wide array of fish to choose from, like the Cajun seared ahi prepared rare, Atlantic salmon, or the Idaho trout. All come with a choice of sides, such as a kale slaw with almond slivers tossed in a house-made dressing, or fire-roasted street corn with chili flakes, garlic butter, and cotija cheese.
There's the classics on the menu as well, like battered fish and chips, breaded calamari and fried catfish, all served with a side of fries. Tacos are also on offer, with eight different styles to choose from.
Rounding things out are the California bowls and salads. Choose your protein and have it prepared over rice with herbs, or make it a grain bowl served over quinoa, brown rice, kale and corn. (You can check out the full menu here.)
California Fish Grill has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.
Tiffany R., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on August 27th, said: "My family and I were invited to the grand opening tonight, Sunday, 8/27/17, Amazing food, beautiful decor, and wonderful people. So affordable and so great. "
