Craving coffee, tea or boba? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Downtown, called Gong Cha, is located at 318 E 2nd St.

Specializing in custom-made milk teas and boba, Gong Cha allows customers to select from a variety of ingredients to create their own personalized drinks.

If you're going the milk tea route, choose your size, flavor, level of sweetness, and amount of ice you'd like to start, then select from toppings like pearl tapioca, rainbow jelly, basil seed and more.

Not in the mood for boba? Coffees, sparkling sodas and smoothies are also on offer.

There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it four stars.

Trinh N., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 25th, said: "Excited to see more boba choices in Little Tokyo! I got Earl Grey Milk Tea w/ 3J. Solid drink with soft boba, herbal jelly, and & pudding). You can decide how sweet & how much ice."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Gong Cha is open daily from 10am–10pm.
