A new bakery has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new addition to Mayfair, called Factory Donuts, is located at 7114 Frankford Ave.
Open since August 18th, the new spot slings donuts it describes as "made to order, handcrafted, aromatic, hand dipped, irresistibly scrumptious." Owners David and Heather, who have already developed several successful franchises in Philadelphia, aim to use this first location as a jumping-off point to franchise the business.
It offers an array of 23 donut flavors, from the "Maple Bacon Explosion" to "Lemon Meringue," "Bananas Foster" and more. (Check out the full menu here.)
There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.
Toy G., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on August 23rd, said: "Factory Donuts just opened this morning so what better way to start the day other than sugar for breakfast."
Factory Donuts is now open at 7114 Frankford Ave., so head on over to check it out. Hours are Sunday, 6am-8pm; Monday, 6am-4pm; Tue-Thu, 6am-8pm; and Fri-Sat, 6am-9pm.
