A new Mexican spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Finley Crest, called Chronic Tacos, is located at 9424 Falls Of Neuse Rd.
Chronic Tacos—which has locations throughout California, Arizona and Alabama— recently opened its first North Carolina spot.
The new spot offers customizable made-to-order dishes. To get started, first choose your dish from a menu of tacos, burritos, salads or tostada bowls, then select a protein like grilled chicken, slow-cooked pork, steak or veggies. Finish it off with extras like guacamole, rice and beans, or salsa.
There are also speciality items like potato tacos, flautas, taquitos and more. (You can view the full menu here.)
With a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Chronic Tacos has made a promising start.
David S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 17th, said: "I enjoy a good taco or burrito and this place does it right. With a Chipotle style feel of having orders made in front of you and its easy to get what you want."
And Terry H. said: "I ordered carne asada tacos and the meat was well marinated."
