'Sapor Restaurant & Bar' Brings Tapas And More To KoreatownPhoto: Sapor Restaurant & Bar/Yelp

A new cocktail bar, offering tapas and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Koreatown, called Sapor Restaurant & Bar, is located at 3600 Wilshire Blvd. and bills itself as "a place for globally inspired dishes, a stiff cocktail, and a refined-rustic setting to unwind."

On the lunch menu—served 11am–3pm—look for items like the short rib sandwich with white cheddar and pickles; kale sprout salad with cherries, vanilla and parsnip chips; and a burger with crescenza.

Dinner is served 5–9pm, and features items like a daily pasta or pizza dish, 12oz rib eye steak with rucola and raw balsamic syrup, scallops in a brown butter powder and more.

There's also an expansive beer and wine menu, along with signature cocktails like the "Tokyo Velvet" with Toki whiskey and homemade ginger syrup. (You can view the full menu here.)

The fresh arrival has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Cera L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 25th, said: "I visited Sapor during their soft opening week and everything we had was so good! The kale salad was really yummy, the potatoes with dipping sauce were amazing."

Yelper Brian P. added: “Review is based on information given to me over the phone. Supposedly you can eat, drink, and and smoke a cigar. Stay tuned. I will give an update on the experience after the fact!”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Sapor Restaurant & Bar is open daily from 11am–midnight.
