A Separate October Incident Involved Blank Rounds
The Wednesday arrest comes about five weeks after a different road-rage episode on the other side of town. On Oct. 1, Culver City officers responded to multiple citizen reports of a car-to-car shooting near Jefferson Boulevard and Overland Avenue, according to Culver City Crossroads. Investigators later determined that one of the drivers involved had discharged two rounds from a handgun designed to fire blank ammunition, and that no live rounds were fired. No injuries were reported, and the outlet noted the investigation remained ongoing.
KTLA reported that police did not say whether anyone involved in that Jefferson Boulevard incident was taken into custody.
