If you've got Indian on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located at 10823 Venice Blvd. in Palms, the new arrival is called Abhiruchi Grill.
This new Indian spot features an extensive menu, with a selection of items from the tandoor oven, curries, grilled dishes and more.
Expect to see items like a chicken malai kebab marinated with cream, cheese, ginger and garlic; vegetable chettinadu with mixed veggies; butter chicken; goat dum biryani; and appam with egg masala.
Rounding things out are desserts like carrot halwa cooked in heavy milk sauce and melted butter; and rice kheer with sweetened milk, nuts and saffron. (You can check out the full menu here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Abhiruchi Grill is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Geetha S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 27th, said: "Great South Indian food! Will come back soon! The lunch specials are great...so much food! Great service and variety to choose from."
Yelper Tanmay D. added: “Another restaurant added to the list of Indian restaurants in the Palms area. Interior looks great and the restaurant is spacious.”
And Amayadoll said: "Wonderful restaurant! The lunch specials vary daily and include rasam, curry, dhaal, rice, naan, and and dessert; they are all delicious. The staff is extremely courteous and answers all your questions."
