If pizza is what you're after, look no further than this new business. The new arrival to the Loop, called Art of Pizza, is located at 727 S State St. (between Balbo Ave. & Polk St).

Art of Pizza, which has another location on N. Ashland, specializes in pizza, salads, sandwiches and subs.

On the pizza menu, expect to see deep-dish pies like "Art's Special" with sausage and onions, "Art's Meaty Delight" with sausage, bacon, ground beef, pepperoni and sliced beef; and "Art's Vegetarian" with tomato, broccoli, spinach and more.

For sandwiches and subs, look for items like the "Italian Super Beef" (with sliced beef on a garlic-buttered bun, topped with mozzarella cheese and pasta sauce), chicken parm, Italian meatballs and more. (You can check out the full menu here.)

Art of Pizza has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Chris L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 7th, said: "I had the a stuffed cheese slice ($4.99+tax) and a regular soda (1.99+tax). The pizza was really good—it tastes very similar to Gino's East. The crust was delicious."

Yelper Sue C. added: “Wanted to try the new place in the neighborhood. Flavor & texture were spot on, better than my favorite stuffed pizza. Was not disappointed, as a matter of fact, and was pleasantly surprised.”

And Andre W. said: "Awww shyyt they done did it now! An Art of Pizza just a few steps away from the residence is dangerous! I am familiar with the brand, as I used to frequent the original location on Ashland."

Head on over to check it out: Art of Pizza is open Friday and Saturday from 11am–midnight, and Sunday–Thursday from 11am–11pm.
