A new spot to score salad and sandwiches has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Beatrix Market, the fresh addition is located at 155 N Wacker (between Adams St. & Randolph St.) in the Loop.

The grab-and-go market boasts two other locations in the Chicago area, at Streeterville and Fulton Market, as well as three full-service Beatrix restaurants.

The Loop location features "a large self-serve salad, soup and hot food bar, rotating chef-prepared salads, sandwiches and snacks, as well as premium nut and chocolate offerings showcasing local artisans." Catering service is also on offer.

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Beatrix Market has already made a good impression.

Jenny W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 7th, said: "I'm a huge fan of this spot. This is the most comprehensive salad bar you could ever have, and I love the unique options they have (i.e. Japanese eggplant and roasted shiitake mushrooms)."

Yelper Sarah R. added: “A very welcome addition to the Loop lunch scene—Beatrix Market is awesome! They have an enormous salad bar with seemingly endless options that's the centerpiece of the space.”

And Aamer G. said: "OMG! This place is the real deal. If you are getting tired of the limited options we have in the Loop to buy salads (that tend to be both overpriced and have too much dressing), this is the place."

Head on over to check it out: Beatrix Market is open weekdays from 7am–4pm. (It's closed on weekends.)
