A new boba and smoothie spot, offering snow ice, milk tea and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Boba City, the newcomer is located at 8330 Long Point Rd. in Spring Branch East.
The menu at Boba City is extensive, with an array of hot and cold drinks on offer. They include fruit teas in flavors like jasmine green tea, honey lemon, kumquat, lychee and more. Looking for something with a little more caffeine? There are coffee drinks like cappuccinos, lattes and mochas as well.
On the milk tea and boba side of the menu, expect to see items like almond milk tea, honeydew milk tea, and chai.
For snow ice, customers can select from flavors like coffee, chocolate, or matcha (Japanese green tea), then top it off with fresh fruit, tapioca or jelly.
It's still early days for the fledgling business—it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.
Gloria H., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 18th, said: "They have an aesthetically pleasing style, plus the workers and owners are super nice! They have a large variety of flavors...Definitely a nice place."
