Brunch fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 312 W Chestnut St. in River North, the new addition is called DropShot Coffee & Snack Bar.
The café—located inside the lobby of the Fieldhouse Jones Hotel—offers an array of breakfast, brunch and lunch items like scrambles, salads, burgers and more.
On the brunch menu, expect to see items like the "Classic Smash" with eggs, bacon, and country potatoes; and the "Overhead Smash" with seasonal veggies topped with eggs.
For lunch, look for items like a southwest cobb salad, the "Tie Breaker Salad" with spinach, tomatoes and grains; and a cheeseburger.
The café also serve's Toby's Estate coffee, with a variety of espresso and coffee drinks on offer.
The new cafe has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Ilana F., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 1st, said: "I like this place a lot. The vibe is cool and the food is pretty good. The nitro is amazing. Smooth and delicious without too much of a bite. The avocado toast is pretty delicious."
Yelper Holly Y. added: “Wow -- this place is great!! I'm so happy for a local coffee shop that is not a big box chain!"
And David M. said: "This is more than a coffee shop in a fantastic hotel in a amazing city near the heart of Chicago. It has cold brew, off the hook espresso and top notch food, salads, scones, and kettle chips."
