If coffee and tea are what you're after, look no further than this new business. Located at 4758 N Clark St. (between Leland Ave & Lawrence Ave) in Uptown, the fresh addition is called Ridman's Coffee.
Ridman's Coffee is a locally owned and operated specialty coffee shop that serves beans from Chicago-based Dark Matter Coffee, as well as a selection of pastries and snacks from local gluten-free baker Defloured.
On the menu, expect to see a variety of coffee and espresso mainstays like cappuccino, lattes, drip coffee, chai tea, and more. The café also serves Dark Matter's Chocolate City iced coffee on draft.
Ridman's Coffee has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Annette D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 10th, said: "Yes! If you live up north and are craving the excellent espresso-based drinks from Dark Matter—good news! Ridman's serves their coffee and the wonderful barista makes a picture."
Yelper Grant M. added: “So far, so good! Came here to work today and had a large iced coffee and a muffin. Coffee was great and so was pastry. Service was super warm and friendly. The place has a cool vibe.”
