A new used, vintage and consignment spot, offering women's and men's clothing and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Ghosts of New York, the new addition is located at 4719 Freret St.
Open since late August, the new spot carries a collection of clothing, accessories and homewares that have been "carefully curated by a vintage expert specializing in designer labels and historical clothing."
"After years of buying and selling designer clothing in deep Brooklyn now known as Industry City, we decided to branch out into the world of vintage," the owners state.
Ghosts of New York is a buy-sell-trade operation, and will buy or swap for vintage clothing to augment its selection, which is also supplemented by contemporary pieces. To get a sense for what might be on shelves now, check out some of the shop's inventory on its Etsy page, here.
There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.
Derek B., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 17th, said: "If you don't want to read all of this, but love vintage clothing, or are looking for modern garments, at great prices, just trust me and go here!"
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Ghosts of New York is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am–7pm, and Sunday from noon–5pm. (It's closed on Tuesday.)
