A new spot to score ice cream and more has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Milk & Cream, the newcomer is located at 9630 Clarewood Dr. in Sharpstown.
This new spot specializes in homemade ice cream and "milk and cream buns," which sandwich ice cream between glazed or unglazed donuts.
Select from an array of rotating ice cream flavors like lavender, cheesecake, strawberry, cookies and cream and more. Then choose your donut and add a topping like Fruity Pebbles to complete the order.
For the traditionalists, you can get plain scoops of ice cream, too, served in a cup or a waffle cone.
It's still early days for the fledgling business—it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.
Mary O., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 30th, said: "Milk & Cream is located in the same shopping strip as Mein and Ohn, so I expect it to be pretty popular. When you walk into the shop, there's a very Instagramable wall to the left."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Milk & Cream is open Friday and Saturday from noon–midnight, and Sunday–Thursday from noon–10pm.
