A new pizzeria, offering salads and more, has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 2550 CityWest Blvd. in Westchase, the new addition is called MOD Pizza.
MOD Pizza—which has locations throughout the U.S.—specializes in individually sized artisan pizzas, salads and more.
On the pizza menu, expect to see pies like the "Tristan," with mozzarella, asiago, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and pesto; the "Calexico," with gorgonzola, chicken, jalapenos, and hot buffalo sauce; and the "Caspian," with BBQ chicken, barbecue sauce, red onions; and more. Diners can also build their own pies, with a large selection of ingredients on hand.
Featured salads include the "Deluxe" with greens, chicken, and salami; and a Caesar with diced tomatoes. (You can check out the full menu here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Baby Ruth A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 5th, said: "Tried eating here, and out of all the MOD Pizza joints me and my husband visited, this would have to be our favorite. Staff were amazingly kind and helpful."
Yelper Brenda M. added: “It was my first time trying MOD pizza and I loved it! A wonderful customer service experience and delicious food as well. I got to choose everything I wanted on my pizza! EVERYTHING.”
And Christine H. said: "My boyfriend and I found out there was a MOD Pizza near our place and we were excited! We have been to several MODs and all are fantastic."
