If you've got acai bowls and smoothies on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. The fresh addition to Manayunk, called Boostin' Bowls, is located at 100 Levering St.
Boostin' Bowls serves a variety of signature acai bowls, both made-to-order and customizable. The business plans to offer an array of smoothies in the near future, too.
On the menu, expect to see bowls like the "Boostin' Bowl" with strawberries, blueberries and granola; "Monkey Bowl" with banana, chocolate chips and granola; and "Liberty Bowl" with blueberries, strawberries and coconut. Diners can add extra toppings like raw almond slivers, peanut butter and honey.
With a 4.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, Boostin' Bowls seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Katie C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 2nd, said: "Great little place that just opened up a block from me. I have been here twice and gotten the same thing both times, because I am a creature of habit, and it was great each time."
Yelper Jessica B. added: “This adorable place just opened off Main Stree in Manayunk today!! I have been waiting anxiously and it totally delivered! They just do acai bowls for now but said they'll be starting smoothies soon.”
And Jessica L. said: "First I want to say that I am SO happy that a legitimate acai bowl place has opened in the area. I've been searching near and far and have not found a single acai bowl in this city that makes me happy."
