A new American spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Bar Verde, the new arrival is located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd. in Century City.
Bar Verde is a full-service restaurant located inside the Nordstrom at the Westfield Century City mall. It features a variety of globally inspired pastas, pizzas, and main courses.
On the menu, expect to see items like tagliatelle with clams, garlic, ginger, scallions, and white wine; a Neapolitan pizza with crushed tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella; sake-marinated ling cod with shrimp dumplings, baby spinach, and shiitake mushrooms; and more. With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Katie R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 8th, said: "Randomly dined here Friday night with another couple. Booked a reservation on OpenTable without any trouble. We had a lovely table on the patio. The ambiance was nice."
Yelper Theodore C. added: “My experience at Bar Verde was great. Each and everyone there was energetic and excited to be there. The restaurant and bar is beautiful, and the kitchen is visible from most of the seats.”
And Helen C. said: "Went here for the grand opening and fell in love! Food was amazing and upscale—a hidden gem. Enrique was a manager I spoke with and was great!"
