
Hungry? A new neighborhood Mediterranean spot has you covered. Located at 107 15th Ave E. (between John St & Denny Way) in Capitol Hill, the new arrival is called Aviv Hummus Bar.
This new spot features a variety of hummus plates and falafel, accompanied by olives and pickles imported from Israel.
You can order Aviv's hummus in a variety of styles, including classic (topped with boiled chickpeas), basar (shawarma-spiced beef topped with roasted pine nuts), masabacha (made-to-order with lemon and served hot) and more.
There's also fried-to-order falafel plates with cucumber, tomato, cabbage and pickles.
To round things out, there are sides like "cheeps," French fried potatoes with tahini and shawarma spice, hamutzin with olives, hot shipka pepper and mini cucumbers, and saladt. (You can check out the full selection here.)
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has already made a good impression.
Suji K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 3rd, said: "Great addition to Seattle! Good hummus, delicious pita, and I loved their olives they import from Israel!"

And Daniel B. said: "Just like back in the Eretz. They even buy their pickles and olives and peppers from Israel. The hummus is served fresh and warm and oh so tasty. The falafel is some of the best I've had."
