Hungry? A new neighborhood halal spot has you covered. Called Tarim Grill, the new addition is located at 11660 Westheimer Rd. in the Briarforest area.
Tarim Grill specializes in Central Asian cuisine, with naan burgers, noodle dishes, stir-fry plates, and kabobs on offer.
On the menu, expect to see items like lamb shank, chicken and Uzbek pilov, a curry chicken burger, Uyghur pizza, and a spicy lamb burger.
There are an array of noodle dishes on hand as well, like sesame noodles, spicy rice noodles, chili chicken noodles and more. For stir-fry options, look for items like "General Joe's Chicken," spicy diced tofu, and beef and broccoli.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Tarim seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Veronica W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 26th, said: "Went here yesterday with the family. Had a great time. It was empty, which is good when you have kiddos. However, the food was great. My husband had 2 (yes, 2) orders of their noodles with chicken."
Yelper Lili S. added: “I had the lamb shank pilov and garlic cucumber, which they highly recommended, and it was fantastic! I love the rice in the pilov, even though it's mixed with carrot. I will definitely go back.”
And Eric L. said: "Absolutely love here. They have amazing food. The service is also great; the waitresses are always very friendly. Can't wait to come back."
