Hungry? A new neighborhood Middle Eastern spot has you covered. The fresh addition to Spruce Hill, called Alsaeeda Restaurant, is located at 136 S 45th St.
Alsaeeda Restaurant specializes in traditional Yemeni cuisine, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
On the menu, expect to see items like lamb and chicken kabobs served with rice and veggies, ogda stew with chicken, tomatoes, and zucchini; tandoor-cooked mandi with lamb, chicken and spices served over basmati rice; and more.
Alsaeeda Restaurant has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Zakaria K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 17th, said: "This is my favorite middle eastern restaurant. They serve the Best and authentic Yemeni food."
Yelper Elle T. added: “Delicious. We spontaneously decided to give it a try and I am glad we did. The lamb was so tender it fell off the bone and the charred chicken was flavorful and not dry.”
