There's a brand-new brewery in town. Located at 2322 Bissonnet St. in Rice Village, the fresh arrival is called Baileson Brewing Company.
The upstart brewery opened its doors with a grand opening celebration on September 13th, debuting five of its signature craft beers.
Currently, Baileson offers a coffee stout, two IPAs, an Oktoberfest beer, and a honey wheat beer. More varieties are expected to debut as the owners get things situated.
The space is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your pup along with you. The brewery has also brought in local vendor Blue Smoke BBQ to keep the crowds fed.
With a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new brewery has already made a good impression.
Yelper Paul D. wrote: “Brand new in the Rice Village area, basically across the street from Under the Volcano. This brewery has a great laid-back vibe, with a long bar, a few tables inside, and and a significant outdoor area.”
And K C. said: "Awesome beer and atmosphere! We came in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't terribly busy. Small inside area, but there is outdoor seating as well. Beer is tasty."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Baileson Brewing Company is open Friday from 4pm–10pm, Saturday from 11am–10pm, and Sunday from noon–9pm. (It's closed on Monday–Thursday.)
