If you've got traditional American cuisine on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located at 12525 Memorial Dr. in Memorial, the fresh arrival is called Dish Society.
The Memorial location is the third for Dish Society, which describes itself as a "farm-to-table fresh" spot for all-day dining. The other outposts are located in Katy and in the Galleria/Tanglewood area.
Dish Society sources ingredients primarily from Texas farms and businesses for its menu, including Greenway coffee and Slow Dough bread. The sizable menu spans all meals, from brisket and eggs and fresh-pressed juices at breakfast to coffee-crusted pork tenderloin and white chocolate pretzel bread pudding in the evening. (While official menus for the new location aren't yet online, you can view the menus for the other locations to get a sense of what's on offer.)
This new location also boasts a full bar, with cocktails, craft beer, and wine.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Dish Society is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Yelper Tiffany T., who was among the first to review the new spot on October 9th, said: “I'm so glad this place opened in the Memorial area! I've heard so many good reviews about this place, but it was out of the way. This place is so pretty inside and out. I love every detail about it.”
And David G. said: "Visited this location today and loved the service. Food was excellent. I had the sweet potato with brisket. It was delicious. Ample parking available, and a nice patio area for sunny days. Will be coming back again for sure."
