A new salad spot to score green cuisine has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 738 N 34th St. (between N. Aurora Avenue & N. Fremont Avenue) in Fremont, the new addition is called Evergreens.
Evergreens isn't new to Seattle: the Fremont outpost is the restaurant's sixth location in the city. Three additional Evergreens are slated to open in Bellevue, Kirkland and at SeaTac in the coming months.
The eatery offers salads, wraps and grains starting at $9. Any added protein is $3. Popular items include the "Spicy + Kale Ceasar" (romaine, kale, grape tomatoes, jalapeños, garlic croutons, aged Parmesan, lemon) and the "E.G.'s B-B-Q" (romaine, pickled red onion, red bell peppers, fire roasted corn, house pickles, Gorgonzola, and BBQ). Catering is also available. (Check out the complete menu here.)
Evergreens has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
David P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 15th, said: "...I got the rice rice baby bowl, which consisted of various Asian-y salad
vegetables and Asian-y dressing along with brown rice and a protein.
The bowl was pretty delicious with the teriyaki glaze and tasted fresh
and felt healthy."
Yelper Brandon K. added: “Salad was good! Fresh kale, lots of different toppings. Expensive salad. But good."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Evergreens is open daily from 10:30am–8pm.
