A new spot to score cheesesteaks and sandwiches has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 8383 Westheimer Rd. in Mid-West, the fresh addition is called Texadelphia.
Texadelphia — which has outposts scattered throughout Texas and Oklahoma — recently reopened its Houston location in the former PotBelly spot. The eatery specializes in Philly-style cheesesteaks.
On the menu, expect to see items like the "Texican," with beef, grilled onions, mozzarella cheese, jalapeños and queso, and the chicken Cubano, with sliced ham and pickles.
There are also salads and burgers on the menu, such as "The Standard" salad with a grilled chicken breast, a southwestern turkey burger with avocado, and a chipotle black bean burger with provolone and veggies. (You can check out the full menu here.)
With just one review on Yelp thus far, Texadelphia currently has a four-star rating.
Belly G., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on October 4th, said: "I was always a fan of the old Texadelphia that was located east of this current location and I was sorely disappointed when they decided to close their doors for good. Or so I thought!"
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Texadelphia is open daily from 11am–10pm.
