A new spot to score milk tea and more has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 2124 Westlake Ave. (between Blanchard St. & 9th Ave.) in Belltown, the fresh addition is called The Moo Bar.

The Moo Bar—which has its flagship location in the San Francisco Bay Area—specializes in hand-crafted bubble tea and milk tea made with seasonal ingredients.

On the menu, expect to see choices like "Moo Bar Special" with Ceylon black tea, "Mister Peachy" with Formosa oolong tea, peaches, and organic brown sugar; "Twisted Mimosa" with kumquat and orange mixed with green tea; "Thai Me a River" with house-made horchata and Thai tea; and more.

On the food side, The Moo Bar offers "eggettes," spherical egg-based waffles popular in Hong Kong and Macau, which are served with a variety of toppings. It also sells "raindrop cakes," clear gelatinous desserts made with agar, a vegan alternative to gelatin. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, The Moo Bar is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Kath H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 21st, said: "Delicious drinks and eggettes! Can't wait to come back for another eggette and try their rain drop cake :)"

Yelper Mad M. added: “New milk tea place by Denny close to Amazon. Variety of flavors. Fresh ingredients. Seattle branch of California boba place.”

Head on over to check it out: The Moo Bar is open weekdays from 10am–7pm. (It's closed on weekends.)
