Coffee and tea fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. The newcomer to Fairfax, called Blue Bottle Coffee, is located at 830 N Fairfax Ave.

The Oakland, California-based roaster, which was recently acquired by Nestle, has been expanding throughout the U.S. and internationally with its signature brand of espresso and single-origin coffees.

Known for its pour-over coffees, Blue Bottle has a variety of beans on hand, including an Ethiopian and Kenyan collection, an array of light roasts, and single-origin beans from Costa Rica with notes of dried fig, Rainier cherry, and crème brûlée. (You can check out the full selection of beans on offer here.)

With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Blue Bottle Coffee has been warmly received by patrons.

John P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 9th, said: "Welcome to the neighborhood! Tasty coffee and friendly service—not much more to ask. Blue Bottle is the centerpiece of this retail market location. "

Yelper Richard R. added: “I know I'm very free with five-star reviews where Blue Bottle is concerned. But I'm a fan not only of the company, but their philosophy where coffee is concerned."

Head on over to check it out: Blue Bottle Coffee is open daily from 7am–7pm.
