Pizza fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 2231 Queen Anne Ave N. (between McGraw St. & Boston St.) in Queen Anne, the newcomer is called Evviva Woodfired Pizza.
Evviva, which has another location in Edmonds, recently took over the former Pizza Hut space. It specializes in Neapolitan-style pies, with a variety of options to choose from.
On the menu, expect to see pizzas like prosciutto with ior de latte mozzarella, tomatoes, and red onion; "Carne Trio" with prosciutto cotto, Zoe's Calabrese sausage, and Italian pork sausage; and a vegan pie with San Marzano roasted red pepper sauce, zucchini, kalamata olives, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts.
Rounding things out is a selection of red wines and beers on tap. (You can check out the full menu here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Jamie S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 13th, said: "Had a margherita pizza and a Caesar salad for takeout. Both were fresh and delicious. Excited to have this new gem in the neighborhood!"
And Dastwood B. said: "Went there last night with the fam and had a margherita and a 3-meat combo. I'm from New York and an unrepentant pizza snob and can tell you this pie is LEGIT."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Evviva Woodfired Pizza is open Monday–Wednesday from 4pm–9pm, Thursday–Saturday from 11:30am–9pm, and Sunday from 11:30am–8pm.
