If you've got juice bar and smoothie on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. The newcomer to Central Fresno, called Uptown Nutrition, is located at 1244 Fulton Mall.
This new spot features a variety of healthy meal replacement options for folks on the go, starting with Formula 1 nutrition shakes and Formula 2 Multivitamin Complex and Cell Activator from Herbalife.
There is a selection of herbal teas like mango, vanilla chai, green tea, and cranberry, as well as aloe shots in four different flavors.
The business also offers Bioelectric Impedance Analysis or body scans to determine customer-specific nutrition plans.
With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Uptown Nutrition has been warmly received by patrons.
Bianca C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 15th, said: "Tried the aloe shot and mango herbal tea and piña colada protein shake. Very good! Alex was very friendly. Cute downtown health bar. And located in downtown Fresno on Fulton mall!"
