A new Korean-style chicken shop has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 2108 South St. in Graduate Hospital, the new addition is called Andy's Chicken.

Andy's, which has another outpost in Fishtown, specializes in KFC—that's Korean Fried Chicken, for the uninitiated. The chicken is accompanied by rice and noodle dishes, and offered in a variety of lunch combos.

You can order either a half or whole fried chicken to eat au naturale, or have it dressed in one of the eatery's signature sauces, like sweet chili, honey garlic, golden soy, Cajun, or sweet BBQ.

For the rice and noodle dishes, expect to see bulgogi with white rice; an egg, kimchi and pork fried rice; and oden, or mussel soup.

Rounding things out are sides like onion rings, fries, macaroni salad, cole slaw, and butter egg rice. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the new chicken shop seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Utkarsh S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 11th, said: "After visiting the original location multiple times, I had high expectations for Andy's new flagship location—and oh man, did he deliver! As usual, this restaurant will be the best chicken-related experience of your life—guaranteed."

Yelper Kassie D. added: “After this place recently opened near my house, I decided to give it a try! The inside of the restaurant is small and has two picnic tables. I went right at opening at 4pm and it was already very busy...the chicken itself was amazing.”

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Andy's Chicken is open Tuesday–Sunday from 4pm–9pm. (It's closed on Monday.)
