There's a brand-new restaurant and bar in town. The new arrival to Logan Square, called Lonesome Rose, is located at 2101 N California (between Shakespeare Ave. & Dickens Ave.)

This new spot is the latest creation from restaurant group Land & Sea Dept.—the same folks behind Cherry Circle Room and Milk Room. It specializes in elevated Southern American and Northern Mexican-style fare.

The restaurant is open in the morning for standard coffee, espresso drinks, juices, and light bites like breakfast tacos and other grab-and-go items, served until 2:30pm.

Then the space switches over to offering a full dinner menu, with the kitchen open until 1am. On the menu, expect to see items like al pastor and fish tacos, chilaquiles, and a chorizo burger.

There's a full bar on hand as well offering signature cocktails, margaritas, brews, shots, and more.

It's still early days for the fledgling business—it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.

Blanca A., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on November 15th, said: "My experience was great. I loved the food. The service was good, delicious tacos and appetizers, and and the dessert was completely amazing, not like any that I've had before. Definitely plan on going back."

Head on over to check it out: Lonesome Rose is open Saturday from 7am–3am, and Sunday–Friday from 7am–2am.
