A new bar, steakhouse and New American spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 1301 N State Pkwy. (between Banks St. & Goethe St.) in the Gold Coast, the fresh addition is called Booth One.
This new eatery, located inside the Ambassador Chicago Hotel, bills itself as a "classic Chicago restaurant being re-introduced in the heart of the Gold Coast neighborhood, from founder Rich Melman."
On the menu, expect to see starters like curried chicken brochettes with rice quinoa pilaf, and Japanese snapper ceviche with sea urchin and passion fruit.
For mains, look for roasted Atlantic sea scallops with watercress emulsion and hackleback caviar, beef tenderloin with English steak jam, and beef Wellington with mushroom bordelaise.
Light dinners are on offer as well, like prime beef "cheeseburger twins" with bleu cheese or cheddar fries, and black truffle scrambled eggs with poached crab. (You can view the full menu here.)
With just one review on Yelp thus far, Booth One currently has a five-star rating.
Jamison S., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on November 15th, said: "The whole experience was great. Our server Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Atmosphere was cool and food was delicious."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Booth One is open Friday and Saturday from 4pm–midnight, and Sunday–Thursday from 4pm–11pm.
