There's a brand-new chicken shop in town. Called Slim Chickens, the fresh addition is located at 9850 Louetta Rd.
Slim Chickens has locations throughout the U.S., and bills itself as a spot that delivers a "dose of that Southern hospitality to a fast, casual setting."
On the menu, expect to see a variety of comfort food favorites such as chicken tenders, wings; chicken and waffles, or a cayenne ranch chicken sandwich.
Rounding the menu out are sides like macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, potato salad, fried okra; and desserts like a fried pie or a cookie. (You can check out the full menu here.)
With a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer has gotten a good response.
Amber W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 24th, said: "The place was very clean and the customer service was awesome! I had the chicken tenders tossed in garlic parmesan, and they were delicious! We will come back!"
And Kevin N. said: "This location is very clean and the customer service is top- notch! A worker named Jasmine went out of her way to help me, as I am handicapped and need a little extra help."
