Looking to chow down on some Indian fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 2982 A Grand Ave. in North Coconut Grove, the new arrival is called Saffron at Grove.
The new restaurant comes from the Ayesha Group, which already has four Indian restaurants in the area: Ayesha Key Biscayne, and Saffron Indian Cuisine locations in Jupiter, Pinecrest and West Palm Beach.
At the new spot, chefs Aman Kumarchanchu and Dilip Kumarmanadal, both from Hyberbad, India, aim to "showcase authentic Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist, and Florida flair"—visible in its open display kitchen, which allows diners to watch as their dishes are being prepared.
The menu includes a wide-ranging offering, from appetizers and soups to tandoori dishes and entrees that showcase elevated takes on classics Indian dishes. (See the full menu here.)
