Looking to chow down on some New American fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Angry Rooster PHL, the fresh addition is located at 2267 N. 19th St. in Stanton.
This new spot bills itself as a mobile restaurant without the truck, according to its website, and specializes in deep-fried chicken wings doused in a house-made dry rub.
"Sometimes we will be at our head location, or we will pop-up and cook our wings off at an event, club, bar or college near you," a statement from the business reads.
On the menu, expect to see options for six, 10, 20, or 50 pieces of wings with an array of signature sauces, including garlic butter and buffalo, coconut curry, and Italian lemon and garlic.
There are also specialty wings such as fried-chicken wrapped in bacon, pineapple teriyaki or jalapeño.
Rounding the menu out are sides like house-made potato chips with dip and milkshakes with butter almond ice cream. (You can check out the full menu here.)
There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.
Anjelica T., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on February 12th, said: "Great wing flavor variety, like the best in town. Decent fries and shakes. It's simple food that's really good."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Angry Rooster PHL is open daily from 11am–11pm.
