A new spot to score ice cream and frozen yogurt and desserts has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 791 Town and Country Blvd. in Memorial, the fresh arrival is called Creamistry.
This is the second Houston-area locale for the made-to-order creamery, which has additional locations throughout Texas, California and Louisiana.
To create your flavor, start with a base like premium or organic whole milk, a non-dairy fruit-based sorbet mix, or vegan coconut milk. Then, choose from flavors like cookie butter, Fruity Pebbles, matcha green tea or chocolate. Round it out with topping options such as candy, cookies, fruit or sauces. (You can take a look at the full list of offerings here.)
Liquid nitrogen is used to instantly freeze the sweet treat at -321 degrees Farenheit.
There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.
Roxy F., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on February 15th, said: "Best fresh ice cream on earth! It's pricey but worth it. Vanilla bean, marshmallows and walnuts mixed in is my fav! Hate that it's so far from where I live."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Creamistry is open Friday and Saturday from noon–11pm, and Sunday–Thursday from noon–10pm.
